Marrickville Yoga Centre offers nearly 30 Iyengar Yoga classes per week, catering to all levels—from beginners to developing, general, and experienced students. We also offer yoga therapy classes and specialised classes for seniors.
Iyengar Yoga is the most widely practiced form of yoga. Yoga calms the mind, strengthens the body, and enhances overall well-being.

Iyengar Yoga was developed by B.K.S. Iyengar in India over the past 70 years. It is a dynamic, physical, and rejuvenating practice, suited to all ages and fitness levels. Our studio offers classes for everyone, regardless of experience.
Through regular practice, you can expect improvements in flexibility, strength, and balance, along with increased energy levels, mental focus, and confidence.

Iyengar Yoga is renowned for its rigorous teacher training and high standards. The learning, experience, and assessment process is extensive, spanning a minimum of four years.
At Marrickville Yoga Centre, all our teachers are certified by the Iyengar Yoga Association of Australia or are currently training under our Senior Teacher, Simon Joannou.
