Beginners Course FAQ

Do I need to bring anything? No, we have all the equipment at the centre.

What do I wear? Wear comfortable clothing that you can freely move in.

I have an existing injury. Can I still come? The Beginners Course follows a set syllabus and there is not the opportunity to teach specifically to individuals with chronic illnesses or injuries. Students that have long term health conditions are encouraged to consider our Yoga Therapy classes and should contact the school prior to enrolling in the Beginners Course.

I am pregnant. Is this course suitable for me? The Beginners Course is NOT suitable for students who are pregnant. We do not offer Pre-natal classes at the centre. Pregnant Students are encouraged to consider our Yoga Therapy classes.

How do I book? You can book here, call or email the centre.  If there is no other option at the time, please also feel free just to turn up at one of the times listed above, and we’ll be delighted to get you started.

After the Course is over? Once you have completed the Course you may be ready to progress to our General Classes. Many students do however find repeating the Course once (or maybe more times) is beneficial as they become more comfortable and able in the foundation poses.

I booked my place in a Course & won’t be able to attend – can I get a refund? We understand that sometimes life gets in the way and things don’t always go to plan. Please advise us via email as soon as possible if for any reason you are unable to attend the Course you have booked. We are happy to transfer your unused course to the following Course. Alternatively, all refunds incur a $30 administration fee.

Beginners Yoga Classes Schedule

Each week, during the 6 weeks of the Beginners Yoga Course, an almost identical Beginners Yoga Class is held at these times, and you just need to come to one of them (unless you want to come to more).

Monday         12 noon-1pm, 7 pm-8 pm
Wednesday   6pm-7pm
Friday           12 noon – 1pm
Saturday       10.00am-11.00am
